VOIGTLÄNDER PERKEO I
medium format 6x6 (120)
This Voigtländer Perkeo was produced in Braunschweig, Germany, during 1951-52. The lens is a 75mm Vaskar, with aperture settings from 4,5 to 16. Focus can be set from appr. 1m to 20m and then infinity. The Pronto shutter can be set to 1/200, 1/100, 1/50, 1/25 and b(ulb). It has a mechanical self-timer as well. There's also a hot-shoe on the camera.
The lens is a bit soft. In fact, several pictures have come out badly out of focus. I'm not sure if this is due to my manual focusing skills not being top notch (yet!), or because I once had an urge to examine the shutter mechanism, during which lenses, aperture blades, etc. were temporarily disassembled.
